Installed the auto-dim frameless mirror, which is just stupid-fancy. I bet Homelink would be nice if I had an automatic garage door opener.
Note to other Mazda owners - there was no harness in my 6, so you’ll need to make sure you use the taps and harness that come with the mirror for the installation. This took about 45 minutes and I would say is well worth it.

I hate driving at night without an auto dimming mirror. It makes such a huge difference, especially with how bright modern headlights are.
Bonus points if the door mirrors also auto dim.

I moved into my new house 5 weeks ago and keep forgetting to program my garage door opener into the HomeLink buttons in both my and my wife’s cars. I never could get the opener at our last house to work with the HomeLink in my car, but it worked fine with my wife’s, so I’ve been using the actual clicker for years anyway and it doesn’t feel different to me. Maybe this opener will be more cooperative with my car.
